ABOUT US

Osez le Féminisme (OLF) is a French feminist non-profit organisation founded in 2009 under the French Law of 1901. We campaign for substantive gender equality and against all forms of male violence against women, including sexual violence, as well as sex-based discrimination.

No. We are not a victim support organisation. Our main role is to advocate, raise awareness and provide information to help change laws and attitudes and tackle sexism and male violence against women. However, we do provide legal, social and psychological support to victims of the pornography industry.

ACTIONS AND CAMPAIGNS

We run awareness-raising campaigns, organise public mobilisations, publish brochures, reports and opinion pieces, and advocate for change with public authorities.

Our work covers male violence against women and girls, including sexual violence, prostitution and pornography, incest and sexual violence against children, and domestic violence. We also work on equality in the workplace, economic violence, sexist stereotypes, women’s health and access to sexual and reproductive rights, sexuality, justice, anti-racism and lesbian visibility. As a generalist feminist organisation, we also respond to emerging and ongoing issues affecting women and girls, with the aim of combating all forms of discrimination against them.

Yes. We run workshops in secondary schools and universities to raise awareness of sexism, male violence against women and girls, sexist stereotypes and women’s rights.
